3 Day Silent Retreat ~ July 26-28
Our July Silent Retreat is mid-summer gift, and we are grateful for all those who find their way here. We gather together with new and old friends to navigate through the challenges of silent practice, and we all benefit so deeply. Experience shows us that these retreats are true health care, and they support us to live as we wish to be in more of our everyday lives. Both beginners and experienced participants are welcome.
You'll experience meditation (both sitting and walking), yoga asana, Breema: The Art of Being Present, playfulness, poems, delicious and vital vegetarian meals, time in nature and more... Free time is included to enjoy the property and to take care of yourself. Dave and Alana Pratt will lead the retreat, and they ask that you read all of the details below if you are interested in attending. The itinerary is also posted at the bottom of this page.

Attendance: Your full participation in this retreat supports you yourself and the rest of the group. We ask that everyone join us for the entire retreat. Please be seated in the classroom five minutes prior to the start of each session.
Silence: Participants will observe silence throughout the retreat. If there are any exceptions to this, clear guidelines will be given at those times.
Meditation: Most meditation periods will include sitting and walking meditation. The forms we will use are easy to follow and will include guidance as needed.
Meals: Meals will be vegetarian with an emphasis on organic and local ingredients. Both vegan and gluten-free options will be offered at each meal. With registration, you will have an opportunity to let us know of any food sensitivities or concerns.
What to bring: Meditation Cushions and yoga mats will be provided, but, if you have your own, please do bring them.
Overnight Lodging:
1.) Some participants can be lodged at True Nature. Lodging onsite is offered first-come, first-serve and includes our rustic cabin by the pond, bedrooms in the house and camping. Note that campers must bring their own camping gear including a tent.
2. ) For those who prefer to stay offsite, the rate for this retreat is $275, plus tax. There are numerous inns, bed and breakfasts and cabins very nearby to True Nature. We suggest Hotel Millersburg, Zincks, The Barn Inn, The Inn at Honey Run, Tranquil Acres, Ferngully Creek Cabins, Cricket Hill Cabins, Mrs. Miller's Cabins and the Comfort Inn. The Barn Inn is only about 1/4 of a mile away from True Nature and makes for a nice walk along our quiet country road. For a more complete listing, email or call us.
